Carolyn Bippus

Mrs. Carolyn Sue Bippus, 82, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Arkansas Methodist medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Bippus was born on October 31, 1938 in Success, AR. She was a retired bank teller having worked for both the Corning Bank and Corning Savings and Loan, as well as a homemaker. She spent her spare time at the river and watching her children and grandchildren ballgames. She attended Success Baptist Church.

She married her husband of almost 50 years, Bailey Bippus, on January 21, 1961. He preceded her in death on October 7, 2010.

She is survived by her children Suzette Bippus of Corning, AR., Phillip Bippus and wife Angie of Corning, AR., Sharae and husband Guy Williams of Marmaduke, AR.; siblings Dema Smith of Corning, AR., Truman Moore and wife Janet of Corning, AR., Janice and husband Roger Baxter of North Carolina; grandchildren Tristan Berry, Jenny Guthrie, Jessi Guthrie, Carley Alexander, Olivia Bippus, Hunter Williams and Cole Williams; great-grandchildren Izzy Edds, Beau Alexander and Truman Alexander; many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents Truman Mabry and Novell Inez Moore, Sr., and a sister Sonjia Pearson.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the services at Hitt Cemetery in Success, AR. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
