Mr. Charles Harmon Malding, 67, of Peach Orchard, AR., passed away Monday, December 4, 2017 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, AR., surrounded by his family. Mr. Malding was born in Piggott, AR., on May 27, 1950. He spent his life doing what he loved, farming and serving as fire chief for many years. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his grandchildren and fur baby Macy.

He married his wife of 46 years Deborah Louise "Debbie" (Hoey) Malding on July 1, 1971, she survives. Other survivors are three children Tammie and husband Larry King of Biggers, AR., Alicia and husband John Croney of Maynard, AR., Harmon Malding and wife Jennifer of Peach Orchard, AR.; brother Bob Beecher and wife Dora Mae of Corning, AR.; sisters Lois Guynes of DeSoto, MO., Mary Carpenter of Paragould, AR.; grandchildren Alexandra Renae and husband Shane Woods, Christian Wayne Malding, Hannah Elizabeth Croney, Caleb James Malding; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Andy and Cecil (Hogan) Malding; brothers Harmon Malding, Herb Malding, Dave Beecher, Jake Beecher, Jim Beecher; sisters Martha Warbritton and Florence Hinkle.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 8, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel Reverend William Allen officiating. Burial will follow the services at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel, AR. Visitation will be held Friday, December 8, 2017 from 11:00 AM until the time of service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Nickason, Joey Croney, Rory Small, C.J. Vallance, John Rainwater, Johnny Fry. Honorary pallbearers will be Leslie Eason, Jeff Coffell, and Brian Cannon.
