Mr. Charles Elbert Reeves, 71, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, October 27, 2012 at home. Mr. Reeves was born in Success, AR., on October 27, 1941. He was a retired carpenter, he enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force during Vietnam. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Corning.
He married his wife Eumeca Joy (Cole) Reeves on July 21, 1967. She survives. Other survivors include his son Heath Reeves of Mountain Home, AR.; his daughter Brittney Reeves of Corning, AR.; two brothers Jerry D. Reeves of Corning, AR., Billy Reeves of Pollard, AR.; two sisters Penny Summers of Poplar Bluff, MO., Janice Martin of Poplar Bluff, MO.; two grandchildren Bobbi Reeves and Devon Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents Elbert Utah and Elva (Verdier) Reeves; two brothers Carl Reeves and Bing Reeves.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 29, 2012 at 2:00 PM in Corning Cemetery with Reverend Rusty Keltner officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, October 29, 2012 from 1:00 PM until the time of services.
