Mr. Charles Franklin "Charlie" Corder, 82, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mr. Corder was born in Hickoria, AR., on December 18, 1934. He was was a retired assembler from the Saint Louis, MO., Chevrolet Plant. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He enjoyed painting landscapes. He was of the Baptist faith.
He married his wife of 46 years Mrs. Beatrice (Pruitt) Corder on June 18, 1956. She preceded him in death on April 27, 2003.
He is survived by one brother Carl Corder and wife Virginia of Hardy, AR.; seven nephews; four nieces and several other family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents Bill and Mary (Wisdom) Corder; brothers and sisters Thelma, Dolly, Frances, Billy, Tom, James, Nancy, and Clarence.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, September 29, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Allen-Smithwick Cemetery in Knobel, AR., with Bro. Larry Dobbins officiating.
