Mr. Charles Earl Holman, 74, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragoul, AR. Mr. Holman was born in Saint Francis, AR., on May 13, 1938. He was a self employed Antiques Collector. He enjoyed fishing, Indian rock and arrowhead hunting, attending flea markets and yard sales, and shooting billards. He served his country as a member of the United States Army.
He married his wife Debbie Kay (Burns) Holman on March 11, 1972. She survives, other survivors include two daughters Pam and husband Tony Roark of Corning, AR., Lisa and husband William Naney of Rector, AR.; one son Charlie Holman and fiance' Abby of Paragould, AR.; one sister Debbie Ball; four brothers Harold Holman, Gene Holman, Calvin Gordon, Randy Gordon; six grandchildren Chris Roark, April Green, Autumn Naney, McKain Holman, Drayton Holman, Kieran Holman; four great-grandchildren Christen Roark, Paden Scudder, Hayley Naney and Libby Green.
He was preceded in death by his father Oscar Holman; mother Beulah Mae (Price) Holman-Gordon; stepfather Wallace Gordon; two brothers Reggie Holman, Rick Gordon and sister Betty Taylor.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bill Meadors officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
