Christine Niswonger

Christine Niswonger, 80, of Corning, passed away on October 7, 2023 at Corning Therapy and Living Center.
Miss Niswonger was born August 6, 1943 in Palatka. She loved watching tv and playing with cats and dogs. Ms. Niswonger was an employee at Hart’s Furniture for many years. She was a member of the Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Corning.
Survivors include her niece Karen (Jim) Crawley of Corning, Paul Gossett of Success, Jimmy Gossett of Success, Mike (Joni) Gossett of Lake City, Bruce (Janeen) Gossett of Pocahontas, and many great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Almous and Grace Niswonger and sister Ona Faye Gossett.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Bryan McDade officiating. Burial will follow the services in Black Cemetery, Palataka.
