Cletus Lewis

Mr. Cletus Lewis, 75, of Poplar Bluff, MO., passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 at home. Mr. Lewis was born in Peach Orchard, MO., on January 3, 1938. He was a mechanic and retired truck driver; he enjoyed working on old cars and going fishing. He was of the Baptist faith.

He married his wife of 56 years Mrs. Ruth Evelyn (Williams) Lewis on July 30, 1956. She survives, other survivors include one daughter Ann Robinson of Poplar Bluff, MO.; two sons Cletus Lewis of Poplar Bluff, MO., Jerry Lee Lewis of Poplar Bluff, MO.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Nellie (Heacock) Lewis; two brothers Everett Lewis, Floyd Lewis and nephew Neal Lewis.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the services at Sparkman Cemetery in Poplar Bluff, MO. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
