Clyde Leon Steele, 69, of Paragould, AR., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 9, 2011 after a long and courageous battle with Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
He was born January 29, 1942 in Peach Orchard, AR., to the late Ernest and Neta Steele. He was a faithful member of the Peach Orchard Pentecostal Church for many, many years.
He is survived by his wife Juanita; two sons Johnathan and Bobby (Crystal) Steele of Paragould, AR.; one daughter Teresa (Frank) Oden of Paragould, AR.; two stepchildren Randy Allen of Paragould, AR., and Cathy Turner of Michigan; two brothers Ralph Steele of Success, AR., Donnie Steele of Peach Orchard, AR.; one sister Kathy Harrison of Yellville, AR.; several grandchildren; and many friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the Peach Orchard Pentecostal Church beginning at 1:00 PM. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM with Carl McKinney officiating. Burial will be at Jones Ridge Cemetery near Delaplaine, AR., under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers Micky Coffell, John Steele, Bobby Steele, Frank Oden, Cody Steele, Erik Williams, and Randy Allen.
