Rev. Clyde Wilson, 85, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Corning Therapy and Living Center in Corning, AR. Rev. Wilson was born in Ava, MO., on October 23, 1925. He was a retired assembly worker from East Twin Disc Clutch in Rockford, IL. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army Air Force during World War II. He enjoyed sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and evangelized for many years. He was pentecostal in faith.

He is survived by three sons Gerald Wilson of Blairsville, GA., Jim Wilson of Stewartsville, MO., Doyle Wilson of Deer Park, WA.; one sister Fawn Kay of Wynne, AR.; and one brother of Clearfield, UT.

He was preceded in death by parents Newt and Vivian Lee (Welton) Wilson; two wives Mary Wilson and Rosa Wilson; and one son Mike Wilson.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 14, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gerald Berger officiating. Burial will follow the service at New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, AR. Public visitation will be held Friday, October 14, 2011 from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
