Mr. Conrad Earling Boyd, 80, of Knobel, AR., passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Saint Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mr. Boyd was born Knobel, AR., on March 13, 1932. He was retired from Monroe Company and from farming. He enjoyed talking and collecting antique tractors. He was a member of the Bottom Land Tractor Club. He was of the Baptist faith.
He married his wife Norma Lee (Triplett) Boyd on July 5, 1952. She preceded him in death on June 15, 2011.
He is survived by three sons Gary Boyd of Paragould, AR., Lee Boyd of Corning, AR., Joseph Boyd of Knobel, AR.; one daughter Myrtle Starnes of Corning, AR.; five brothers Norris Boyd of Knobel, AR., James Boyd of Unadilla, GA., Neil Boyd of Perry, GA., Cleitus Boyd of Corning, AR., Travis Boyd of Piggott, AR.; Ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents Clyde Earl and Ella Alice (Smith) Boyd; and one son Connie Lee Boyd.
Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Sunny Williams officiating. Burial will follow the services in Bond Cemetery in Knobel, AR.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 24, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
