Mr. Crockett Monroe Williams, 77, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at home. Mr. Williams was born in Okolona, AR., on May 11, 1939. He was a owner-operator truck driver who enjoyed trucking over the road, taking care of his dog Rusty, spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Grace Christian Fellowship in Poplar Bluff, MO.
He married his wife Linda (Crismon) Williams on May 11, 1987, she preceded him in death on March 25, 2006.
He is survived by eight kids James Gibson and wife Cheryl of Corning, AR., Jason Gibson of Upland, CA., Daniel Gibson of Rancho Cucamonga, CA., Shari and husband Alex Valenzuela of Upland, CA., Kay and husband Ray Brandt of Hacienda Heights, CA., Bonnie Woodall of Hot Springs, AR., Diane Spiva of Hot Springs, AR., Chris Williams and wife Mary of Corning, AR.; two sisters Vida Williams of Tuckerman, AR., Rose Hill of Cabot, AR.; two brothers Edward Williams of Newport, AR., Walter Williams of Little Rock, AR.; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents Salis Crockett and Deila (Love) Williams; one son George Williams and brother Henry Williams.
Graveside funeral service will be conducted Monday, May 16, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Corning Cemetery with Pastor Brian Sharp officiating. Visitation will be Monday, May 16, 2016 from 12:00 PM until the time of service in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel.
