Dakota Wayne Durbin

Dakota Wayne Durbin, 16, of Corning passed away October 7, 2023 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro surrounded by his family.

Mr. Durbin was born June 26, 2007 in Poplar Bluff, MO. He attended Corning High School and was a member of the Corning High School Marching Band, Science Club and Art Club. Dakota loved to draw and enjoyed anything creative to do with art. He was a member of Big T Pentecostal Church in Corning.

Survivors include his mother Jennifer Sanders of Corning; father Perry Durbin, Jr. of Pocahontas; brother Ryan Durbin of Corning; sister Selena (Daygan) Pugh of Corning; caregivers Lisa and Mike Malone of Corning; his dog Bella; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at Corning High School Gymnasium. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the gymnasium with Pastor Bryan Malone officiating under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home of Corning. Burial will be at Hitt Cemetery in Success.
