Danny Banks

Mr. Danny Ray Banks, 69, of Pocahontas, AR., passed away Tuesday, August, 4, 2015 at home. Mr. Banks was born in Corning, AR., on October 21, 1945. He was a retired production supervisor, for Basler Electric Co., and Sam and Sam's in Corning, AR. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting Lionel train sets and arrowheads.

He is survived by his wife Velma of Pocahontas, AR.; two daughters Shannon and husband Jim Ermert of Corning, AR., Deann and husband Robert Fox of Tyronza, AR., two sons Harold Bagwell of Nashville, TN., Carlton Sparlin and wife Ashley of Pocahontas, AR.; his father Sammie Banks of Corning, AR.; one brother Mike Banks of Corning, AR.; eight grandchildren Blake Fox, Jessica Fox, Madison Ermert, Emily Ermert, Charlie Ermert, Mackenzie Bagwell, Kolton Sparlin, Ryder Sparlin; three great-grandchildren Reid Fox, Emma Fox, Marc Fox; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Nona Belle Banks; and brother Sammie Banks, Jr.

Graveside Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 12:00 PM at Richwoods Cemetery in Corning with Reverend Carl Thomason officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 11:00 AM until time of service.
