Danny Cochran

Danny Cochran, 77, of Corning, AR., passed away Friday, August 23, 2024 at Corning Therapy and Living Center in Corning surrounded by his family. Danny was born in Corning, AR., on March 12, 1947 to the late Shelby Cochran and Wanda Cochran Talley. Dan’s greatest joys in life were his wife, kids and grandkids. Dangerous Dan enjoyed riding the ranger with Buster the Beast and Dynamic Darlene. He also loved hunting, fishing and spent lots of time with his buddy “Sharpe Shooter” Jim Caldwell on the water and in the woods. Dan was a musician who enjoyed writing songs and playing music. In his younger years, he was an avid bowler and share his love for bowling with his children and grandchildren.

He married his “Honey” Geneva Darlene Moore on January 6, 1999. They celebrated their 25th anniversary this year.

Other survivors include his children Lee (Donna) Cochran of Belvidere, IL., Chad (Courtney) Cochran of Paragould, AR., Christy (David) Capps of Oklahoma City, OK., Anthony Cochran of Pocahontas, AR., Nathan (Meagan) Cochran of Doniphan, MO., Danny (Lara) Reed, Jr. and Douglas (Kerri) Reed, both of Corning, AR. 21 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren with 1 more on the way.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 noon with Bro. Herbie Holsapple officiating. Burial will follow the services at Black Cemetery, in Success, AR.
