Darlene Mclaughlin

Mrs. Darlene McLaughlin, 68, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Arkansas Continued Care Hospital in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs. McLaughlin was born January 10, 1953 in Saint Louis, MO. She worked for Woodman’s Grocery for many years in Rockford, IL. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and watching Hallmark and Lifetime movies with her grandchildren. She was of the Christian faith.

On August 8, 1981, she married Arthur McLaughlin. He preceded her in death on December 7, 2019.

Survivors include her children Shelia Perez, Christy Massey, Dale Boman, Darrell Wayne McLaughlin and wife Veronica, and Donnie Ray Mclaughlin; sister Deanna and husband Ken Ketcher; grandchildren Christopher Burysek, Kamron Pugh, Alijah Perez, Brandon Massey, Kay Massey, Christina Massey, Darrell Wayne McLaughlin, Jr., and Emily Boman.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents Frank R. and Wanda A. (Rankin) Gibson; sister Patricia Sewell; and grandsons Donny Pugh and Frankie Boman.

The family will conduct a celebration of life at a later date. Arrangements by Ermert Funeral Home.
