David Shourd

Mr. David Charles Shourd, 64, of Knobel, AR., passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at home. Mr. Shourd was born in Paragould, AR., on Febuary 14, 1954. He was a retired farmhand who enjoyed playing the guitar and fishing. He was of the Baptist faith.

He married his wife of 30 years Mrs. Rita Faye (Keas) Shourd on March 10, 1988, she survives. Other survivors include his children Amy Walker of Corning, AR., Chris Shourd and wife Danielle of Corning, AR., Charlie Shourd and wife Aly of Corning, AR.; step-son Jeremy Mullins of McDougal, AR.; brother Ronnie Shourd and wife Teresa of Corning, AR.; aunt Irene Highfill of Corning, AR.; five grandchildren Dylan Walker, Rex Shourd, Annalee Shourd, Cadin Newell, Hunter Newell; one great-grandson Dayton Walker; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mary Lee Shourd.

Memorial services will be held Monday, April 23, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held Monday, April 23, 2018 from 1:00 PM until the time of services.
