David Miller, Sr.

Mr. David Miller, Sr., 74, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Saint Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mr. Miller was born November 12, 1946 in Palatka, AR. He was retired from ARI where he did maintenance and was an electrician. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, and spending time with his family. He attended Big T Apostolic Church in Corning.

On October 30, 1970, he married Carolyn (McKinney) Miller. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Other survivors include his children James David (Gail) Miller, Jr. and Amy M. Miller, both of Corning, AR.; brothers Lonnie Miller of Fairdealing, MO., and Teddy (Pat) Miller of Corning, AR.; sister Bethel Pyle of Corning, AR., and Lynn (Willie) Ward of Fairdealing, MO.; grandchildren Seth (Elizabeth) Miller, Logan (Haven) Miller, Hadyn Richmond (Taylor Davis), and Cooper Hopkins; great-grandchildren Layton Miller, Cecily Richmond, and Alaina Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel David and Velma Jean Miller.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted, Friday, March 26, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Williams Cemetery in Corning, AR., with Reverend Scott Crain officiating. Burial will follow.
