David Taylor, 59, of Corning passed away September 18, 2024 at home surrounded by his family. He was born September 15, 1965 in Corning, Ar.
Mr. Taylor was a retired Local 798 pipeliner. He loved being outdoors, especially racing, hunting, and welding. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren and family.
On April 27, 1985, he married Lynn (Wooldridge) Taylor who survives. They celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary earlier this year. Other survivors include his children Tasha (Ashley) Jobe of Jonesboro and Amber Stuart (John Wilburn) of Corning; mother Jeri (Rush) Taylor of Corning; sisters Debbie Taylor of Mobile, AL and Carla Taylor of Corning; grandchildren Kason and Adalynn Jobe, Allie Stuart; aunts Linda, Matt, Brenda, Cindy; uncles Carl, Steve, Billy, Larry Joe; nieces and nephews Ricky and Allison Stormes, Sara Stormes and Brandon Taylor, Sheena Wood, Lesley McMeans, Lee and Chasity Wooldridge, Paige Creed; many loved great nieces, great nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Wayland Taylor.
Pallbearers are Terry Ladd, Waylon Woodard, David Ladd, Gary Don Ladd, Curt Sutton, Gordon Easterly, Tommy Craft and Jim Hunt. Honorary Pallbearers are Kason Jobe and Ricky Stormes.
Visitation will be Sunday September 22, 2024 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will be held Monday September 23, 2024 at the funeral home at 2 p.m. with Jerry Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at Corning Cemetery.
