Dawn Howe, 57, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024 at home. Dawn was born March 1, 1967 in Ann Arbor, MI. She had been an associate for Wal-Mart. In her free time, she enjoyed collecting blow molds, decorating her lawn for holidays, especially Halloween, shopping yard sales and flea markets. Her absolute favorite thing was to spend time with her granddaughter Evie. They were the best of friends and their love for each other was unmatched. Dawn was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include her husband Steve VanNada, daughter Grace VanNada (Chris King), and grandchild Evie King, all of the home; brothers Karl (Toni) Howe of Poplar Bluff, MO., and Jeffrey (Kenda) Howe of Hot Springs, AR.; sister Denise (Dan) Berry of Hot Springs, AR.; nieces and nephews, Samantha and Jeremy Azbell, Tiffany White, Jennifer Stell, Jennifer Oakley, Christopher, Nicholas, and Savannah Howe; 11 great nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leroy William and Patsy Laverne (Kilbreth) Howe; close cousin and best friend Kelly Rainbolt, and great-nephew Michael Oakley.
A memorial service will be held at Apostolic Fellowship Church in McDougal, AR., with Pastor Herbert Ellis officiating on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 3:00 PM The family will begin receiving friends at 2:00 PM.
