Mrs. Helen O'Dean Besson, 88, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mrs. Besson was born in Clay County, AR., she was a homemaker.
She married her husband Albert "Chub" Chesney Besson on September 7, 1940. He preceded her in death on May 12, 2000.
She is survived by one son Jim Besson of Corning, AR.; two daughters Peggy Bigler of Poplar Bluff, MO., Kay Nall of Corning, AR.; one brother Donnie Ray Wright of Rockford, IL.; two sisters Billie Gault of Rockford, IL., Lorene Johnson of Rockford, IL.; six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband "Chub" Besson; her parents Jess and Maggie Ann (York) Wright; and one grandson Gene Mansker.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 28, 2011 in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tim Burgess officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be held Friday, May 27, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
