Deanna Blunk

Ms. Deanna Viola Blunk, 75, of Corning, AR., passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Ms. Blunk was born in Beech Grove, AR., on June 4, 1941. She was a homemaker and factory worker. She was a dedicated military wife for 20 years proudly serving along side of her Airman husband Jimmie Blunk. She was a loving caretaker of her oldest daughter, Lawanna. She was of the Protestant faith and enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her three daughters Lawanna Blunk of Corning, AR., Leanna “Betsy” and her husband Randy Brinson of Corning, AR., Loretta and husband Barry Lunsford of Corning, AR.; four siblings Barbara and husband Weldon Debord of Datto, AR., Sharon and husband Eugene Hopkins of Corning, AR., Joe Cooper and wife Mary of Grover Hill, OH., Lannie Cooper and wife Shelia of Winter Haven, FL.; a sister-in-law Lorraine Blunk of Trumann, AR.; three grandchildren Jimmie Lunsford and wife Tonya, Ross Lunsford, Leslie and husband Blake Dodd; nine great-grandchildren Logan, Makenna, Mac, and Bret Lunsford, Gage, Jude, and Jhett Dodd, Julian and Presley Lunsford; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents Norman D. and Lorene (Eaker) Cooper; two brothers Jason Cooper and wife Doris, Norman Dean Cooper and wife Joyce; and a brother-in-law Larry Blunk.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 2:00 in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 12:00 PM until time for the services in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel.
