Mrs. Deborah Gaylene Wheetley, 57, of Corning, AR. passed away Monday, May 10, 2010 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Wheetley was a homemaker and factory worker. She enjoyed reading and spending time with family. She was a member of First Apostolic Church in Corning, AR.

She married her husband Lendel Wheetley, Sr. on September 21, 1973, he survives. Other survivors are two sons Lendel Wheetley, Jr. of Corning, AR., Ronnie Wheetley and wife Jessica of Corning, AR.; one daughter April and husband Randall Webb of Corning, AR.; three brothers Mike Lee and wife Joyce of Broken Arrow, OK., Tim Lee and wife Vondal of Broken Arrow, OK., Dennis Lee and wife Erin of Van Buren, AR,; one sister Denise Samples of Broken Arrow, OK.; three half brothers Floyd Lee and wife Margie of Rockford, IL., Jerry Lee and wife Jana of Mesquite, TX., Jim Lee and wife Andrea of Frisco, TX.; Six half sisters Norma and husband John Ekey of Wichita, KS, Betty and husband Charles Hensley of Jonesboro, AR., Patsy and husband Bobby Fraizer of Iowa Park, TX., Dorthy and husband Jerry Major of McKinney, TX., Margie and husband Mike Negri of Iowa Park, TX., Jaynell and husband Kenneth Manuel of Iowa Park, TX.; seven grandchildren Malcom, Corey, Cordal, Ethan, Caleb, Makenzie, Noel; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clayborne and Maxine (Hanners) Lee and one grandson Noah Webb.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday May 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM at First Apostolic Church in Corning, AR. with Pastor Chris Dixon, Reverend Floyd Ryles and Sister Shelby Bowman officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning cemetery. Public visitation will be Friday, May 14, 2010 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel and also Saturday Morning at 10:00 AM in the church until the time of service.
