Mr. Jesse Delaney Walker, 61, of Corning, AR., passed away Thursday, September, 16, 2010 at home. Mr. Walker was born in Knob, AR., he was a self-employed farmer, he enjoy hunting and fishing, racing cars and lawnmowers, he was a member of First General Baptist Church in Corning, AR.
He married his wife Doris (Galyean) Walker on June 26, 1970 she survives. Other survivors include one daughter Cindy and husband Scott Ahrent of Corning, AR.; one son Derik Walker and wife Kendra of Knob, AR.; one sister Angie and husband Larry Walker of Knobel, AR.; six grandchildren Brianna Halcomb, Dylan Walker, Trevor Ahrent, Olivia Ahrent, Matthew Bippus and Blaydon Ledsord.
He was preceded in death by his parents E.J. and Verba (Farley) Walker; one brother Donnie Walker; and nephew Warren Walker.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Don Dingus officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the UAMS Foundation Fund, 4301 W. Markham Street # 716, Little Rock, AR 72205.
