Delmar Foster

Mr. Delmar Talmadge Foster, 82, of Knobel, AR., passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at General Baptist Nursing Home in Piggott, AR. Mr. Foster was born in Tipperary, AR., on April 11, 1936. He retired from Fisher Body after 30 years of driving a forklift. He was a member of UAW and enjoyed antiquing and yard work. He was of the Baptist faith.

He married his wife of 30 years, Mrs. Betty Jean (Dedmon) Foster on June 29, 1987. She survives, other survivors include his daughter Sheila Neumann and grandson Drew Neumann.

He was preceded in death by parents Arthur Dotson and Mettie Lou (Gould) Foster; three brothers Albert Foster, Delbert Foster, Alvin Foster; three sisters Esther Deatherage, Beulah Finn and niece Neely Joyce Spruell.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 1:00 PM on the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gary Meeker officiating. Burial will follow the services at Bond Cemetery in Knobel, AR. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Proudly serving as pallbearers are Van Foster, Mark Foster, Steve Foster, Teddy Foster, Troy Foster, Jimmy Dedmon; honorary pallbearers will be AJ Malone, Jerry Long, Harold Akers, JR Breckenridge and Jay Dedmon.
