Dennis Smith

Mr. Dennis Smith, 76, of Corning, AR., passed away Friday, June 7, 2019 at Saint Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mr. Smith was born in Palatka, AR., on March 12, 1943. He was a retired farmer who enjoyed hunting, fishing, attending auctions and spending time with his family. He was a member of Success Church of Christ.

He married his wife of 57 years Mrs. Judy (Leonard) Smith on December 15, 1961, she survives. Other survivors are his two sons Grant Smith and wife Sara of Conway, AR., Todd Smith and wife Charlene of Success, AR.; three grandchildren Laura Elizabeth Smith, Jenna Smith Bingham, Payton Smith; and one great-grandson Bear Nolan Bingham; one sister Carolyn and husband Larry Furlong; four nieces and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Connie (Rapert) Smith; his brother Glendal Ray Smith and a sister Dorlis Smith Cherry.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 10, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Christ in Success, AR with Sonny Simpson officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel.
