Derwin Stormes

Derwin Stormes, 47, of Knobel, AR., passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mr. Stormes was born October 17, 1974 in Walnut Ridge, AR. He was a farm hand for Country Boy Farms. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, racing, race cars and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He attended Delaplaine Baptist Church.

On July 25, 1992, he married Tina King. They recently celebrated 29 years of marriage. Other survivors include sons Nathan (Hannah) Stormes and Dylan Stormes both of Knobel, AR.; parents Keith and Dian Stormes of Knobel, AR; siblings Kay (Leonard) Rush, Glenda (Mark) Curtis, Brian Stormes, Mindy Stormes Merrell, Ben Stormes, Tera (Brad) Lewis, Janey (Chad) Stormes and Garry Rice; grandmother Mattie King; grandchildren Ansley, Wyatt, and Claire; bonus children Madelyn Gibson Ward and Noah Robinson; bonus brother Aaron Keeling; several nieces, nephews, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Bethany Stormes and grandparents Ben and Madie Stormes, Curby and Viola Keeling, and Elvin King.

Visitation will be Friday May 13, 2022 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel.
