Diane Haywood

Mrs. Diane Haywood, 76, of McDougal, AR., passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Magnolia Manor Assisted Living in Piggott, AR. Mrs. Haywood was born March 30, 1946 in Corning, AR. She was a retired administrative assistant who enjoyed camping, crafting, sewing, gardening, and reading. She loved spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren. She attended the Church of Christ.

On September 4, 1965, she married Bobby Roger Haywood. They were married 48 years prior to his death on July 2, 2014.

Survivors include her son Steve (Melanie) Haywood of Success, AR.; brother Frank (Sandra) Shepherd of Mayflower, AR.; sister Linda (Wayne) Allmon of Pollard, AR.; grandchildren Lexi and Cole Haywood; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents Ewing Franklin and Sylvia Lucille (Kilbreath) Shepherd.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 1:00 PM in Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Johnny Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow the service at Post Oak Cemetery near McDougal.
