Mrs. Dixie Pauline Ivie, 86, of Jonesboro, AR., formerly of Corning, AR., passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Skill Care Nursing Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs. Ivie was born in Etterville, MO., on September 15, 1925. She was a homemaker and member of the Corning "Y" Pentecostal Church of God.
She married her husband Willis Ivie in 1993, he preceded her in death on July 26, 2001.
She is survived by two step-sons Bradford Neil Ivie of Jonesboro, AR., Jay Ivie of Martinsburg, WV.; three step-daughters Thelma Newsom of Corning, AR., Lavon Rowe of Montague, MI., Rita Matuz of Grant, MI.; and several step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and her parents Sidney and Ella Mae (Stackhouse) Clinton.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jimmy McMasters officiating. Burial will follow the service in Richwoods Cemetery in Corning. Public visitation will be held Saturday, April 7, 2012 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
