Dollie "Granny" Moore

Mrs. Dollie “Granny” Moore, 90, of Corning, AR., passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs. Moore was born in Dryden, AR., she was a homemaker and member of Hickoria Baptist Church near McDougal, AR.

She married her husband Zelmer Moore on December 23, 1929 in Jonesboro, AR., he preceded her in death in 1981.

She is survived by two sons James Moore of Corning, AR., Jerry Wayne Moore of Monroe Center, IL; two daughters Marie Ricker of Corning, AR., Mary Lou Durbin Gray of Jonesboro, AR.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband Zelmer Moore; parents William Henry and Lola (Williams) Glidewell; two sons William Moore, Don Joe Moore; one daughter Carolyn Sue Moore; two grandsons Jimmy Moore, Cecil Ricker; seven brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Mike Chadwick and Bill Morris officiating. Burial will follow the service in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector, AR. Public visitation will be held Friday, Demeber 17, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
