Don D. Smith

Don Smith, 64, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, 14, 2025 at home. Mr. Smith was born March 30, 1961 in Pocahontas, AR. He was retired from Utility Trailer. Don proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He enjoyed pottery, painting, writing poetry, arrowhead hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was of the Baptist faith.

On July 5, 1991, he married Shelly Barnett. They celebrated 33 years last July. Other survivors include his daughter Sara Rayann of Corning; AR.; mother Linda Britton and fiancée Norm Ellison of Adrian, MI.; brothers Cliff (Suzanne) Worsham of MI., and Derick (Kristyn) Smith of MO.; sisters Toshya Griffin and Tonya Wolbert, both of MO.; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Jimmy D. Smith and brother Terrance Smith.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 12:30 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with Reverend Larry Dobbins officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery.
