Don Hawkins

Don Hawkins, 77, of Jonesboro, formerly of Corning passed away February 8, 2022 at his home.

Mr. Hawkins was born July 21, 1944 in Naylor, MO. He proudly served his country and was retired from the US Air Force.

On February 18, 1966, he married his surviving wife, Inge Petry in Germany. They would have celebrated their 56 ^th wedding anniversary this year. Other survivors include his children Angela Hawkins of Poplar Bluff, MO, Leah Colton of Beaver Creek, OH, and Cedric Hawkins of North Little Rock; grandchildren Annabelle and Roland Hawkins; his beloved cat, Baby; six brothers; and one sister.

He was preceded in death by daughter Sandra Hawkins; parents John W. and Connie M. (Ballard) Hawkins; three brothers; and three sisters.

Visitation will be Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Phillip LaRue officiating. Burial will be at Richwoods Cemetery in Corning.
