Donald Dell Calhoun

Mr. Donald Dell Calhoun, 76, of Corning, AR., passed away Friday, June 12, 2020 at home. Mr. Calhoun was born in McDougal, AR., on November 27, 1943. He was retired from Hart Manufacturing, Inc., and from farming. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. He loved to play his guitar and had attended the Apostolic Fellowship of McDougal.

On May 5, 1963 he married Geraldine Payne. She survives.

Other survivors include his son Ricky (Sarah) Calhoun of Corning; brothers Dennis Calhoun of Greenway, Danny Calhoun of McDougal, Darrell (Luetta) Calhoun of Paragould, Jackie (Sandy) Calhoun of Rector, and Danny (Brandy) Calhoun, Jr. of Corning; sisters Virginia Caughron of Trumann; Evelyn (Sam) Winstead of Greenway, Gloria (Jim) Crittenden of Piggott, Nellie (Vic) Butler of Piggott; grandsons: Brandon, Jon, and Drew Calhoun; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and sisters-in-law Goldie Loggins and Earline Sharp.

He was preceded in death by his parents James C. and Bonnie Calhoun; brother Donnie Calhoun; grandparents Olie and Gerutha Calhoun, Onan and Liza Sprouse; nephew Darrin Poe; parents-in-law Willie and Rhoda Payne; brothers-in-law Jerry Caughron, Kenneth Loggins and Jerry Sharpe; and sisters-in-law Becky Calhoun and Teresa Calhoun.

Visitation will be Sunday June 14, 2020 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will be Monday June 15, 2020 at 2 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Herbert Ellis and Lavern Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Post Oak Cemetery, McDougal.
