Donald Colter

Donald Colter, 76, of Neelyville, MO passed away March 28, 2022 at home.

Mr. Colter was born November 12, 1945 in McDougal. He was a saw filer for Black’s Sawmill in Corning. During his retirement, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

He was married to Trudy (Cremeans) Colter 48 years prior to her death on August 7, 2013.

Survivors include his son Bob Smith of Corning; grandchildren Shammie Pentecost, Tessa Stanley, Kelly Dodd, and Amanda Schroeder; great grandchildren Caden Stanley, Riley Stanley, Kristen Reynolds, Cody Reynolds, Sam Dodd, and Will Dodd; great grandchild Larissa; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his daughter Angela Scott; parents Richard Boone and Harriet (James) Colter; and brothers James “Pouge” and Charles “Pee Wee” Colter.

Visitation will be Friday from 1:30 to 2 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. with Jamie Engel officiating.
