Donald Ownbey

Mr. Donald Ownbey, 66, of Paragould, AR., passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010 at home. Mr. Ownbey was born in Shreveport, LA., he was a retired electrician for Champion Boats, he proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

He married his wife Carolyn (Denning) Ownbey on December 25, 1965, she survives. Other suvivors include one daughter Jennie Kay Anderson of Mountain Home, AR.; mother Chlo (Mizel) Kennedy of Mountain Home, AR.; one brother Scott Ownbey of Lancaster, CA.; one sister Jocelyn Elbs of Mesa, AZ.; two grandchildren Jay and Aubyn.

He was preceded in death by father Donald Pearpoint Ownbey; and one brother Bobby Bruce Ownbey.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 3, 2011 in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM with Sally Shepard and Ruben Rodriquez officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be held Monday, December 3, 2011 from 11:00 AM until time of service.
