Donna Blankenship Janes

Mrs. Donna Drucella (Blankenship) Janes, 51, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Crittenden Regional Hospital in West Memphis, AR. Mrs. Janes was born in Paragould, AR., on August 6, 1962. She was a former Personnel Manager for Wal-Mart where she worked for 15 years. She enjoyed spending time with her babies, dancing and singing around the house, cleaning, and visiting with the church ladies. She was a member of Living Word Fellowship Church in Corning.

She married her husband of 32 years Danny Janes, I on May 30, 1981 in Corning. He survives. Other survivors are three children Andrea and husband Chris Pritchard of Corning, AR., Danny Janes, II and wife Rachel of Corning, AR., Jennie and husband Ray Pettus, II of Sevierville, TN.; parents Pat Blankenship of Corning, AR., Bob Blankenship of Corning, AR.; three brothers Ricky Lambert of Rogers, AR., Bobby Blankenship, II of Corning, AR., Allen Blankenship of Corning, AR.; two sisters Connie Thompson of Memphis, TN., Teresa Vannoy of Corning, AR.; nine grandchildren Kassadee Pritchard, Christa Pritchard, Annie Pritchard, Cadence Janes, Mollie Janes, Gracie Janes, Alana Pettus, Colben Pettus, R.J. Pettus; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 8, 2014 in the Ermert Funeral Home chapel at 2:00 PM with Reverend Tony Monreal officiating. Burial will follow the service at New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, AR. Visitation will be conducted Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
