Donna Townsend

Donna Townsend, 70, of Corning passed away January 27, 2021 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.

Mrs. Townsend was born November 29, 1950. She was a farmer’s wife and former owner of Possum Hollow in Corning. She had also been the manager of Delaplaine Farm Supply. She loved taking care of her cats and family, especially her granddaughters. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was married to H. C. “Stub” Townsend who preceded her in death on April 21, 2004.

Survivors include her son Mike Townsend of Corning and grandchildren Sophia, Gracie, and Mikah Jo Townsend.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents Bill and Hazel (Carr) Gatlin.

Pallbearers will be Ed Burns, Steve Burns, Dannie Lee Daughhetee, Brian Farmer, Jimmy Dale Rice, and Jason Horner.

Visitation will be Monday February 1, 2021 at Ermert Funeral Home from 1 to 2 p.m. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 2 p.m. with Phillip Keeling officiating. Burial will be at Corning Cemetery.
