Mrs. Dora Mae Halford, 94, of Poplar Bluff, MO. passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mrs. Halford was born in Pocahontas, AR., on January 8, 1920. She was homemaker and member of the Renyo Church of Christ.
She married her husband of 57 years Gerald Austin Halford on January 11, 1941. He preceded her in death on December 17, 1997.
She is survived by three sons Eddie Halford of Poplar Bluff, MO., James Halford of Poplar Bluff, MO., Larry Halford of Columbus,OH.; four grandchildren Shelly McCollister, Dawn Zehner, Crystal Hovis, Jami Camp: eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Jimmy Mae (Flanery) Holland and one son Gerald Halford, Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Troy Johnson officiating, Burial will follow the services at Nelson Cemetery in Reyno, AR. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 2:00 PM until the time of service.
