Doris Cox

Doris Fann Cox, 76, of Jackson, TN., passed away Monday, October 24, 2022 at Maplewood Healthcare Center in Jackson, TN. Mrs. Cox was born December 8, 1945 in Success, AR. She was a floral designer which she enjoyed and she loved spending time with her family. She was of the Church of Christ faith.

On April 17, 1965, she married Robert Cox, Jr. He preceded her in death. Survivors are her daughter, Kelly Nickell of Jackson, TN.; sisters Tammy Asbill of Kaufman, TX., and Bendetta “Tootsie” Ogle of Austin, TX.; grandchildren Andrew, Madison, and Robert Nickell.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her son Robert Cox, III; parents Lehman and Dorothy (LaRoe) Fann; brothers Glen and Stanley Fann; and son-in-law Jeffrey Nickell.

Graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Richwoods Cemetery in Corning, AR.
