Doris Halcomb

Doris Halcomb, 69, of Pocahontas, AR., passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Arkansas Continued Care Hospital in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs. Halcomb was born August 7, 1952 in Newport, AR. She, along with her husband, Randy, own Taco Casa in Pocahontas. Doris loved working, cooking and doing for others. She was an active member of First Apostolic Church in Corning, AR.

On September 30, 1972, she married Randy Halcomb. They recently celebrated their 49 ^th anniversary. Other survivors include their children Randy “Bub” (Miranda) Halcomb, Jr. of Sheridan, AR., and Angela Oxford of Pocahontas, AR.; mother Gracie Wilson of Pocahontas, AR.; grandchildren Cody (Caitlin) Halcomb, Madison (Brandon) Jones, Leighton Halcomb, Little Gracie Oxford, Kolton, Asher and Jasper Halcomb; great-grandchildren Finley and Eleanor Halcomb; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by daughter Melissa Gail Halcomb and father Willard Wilson.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at First Apostolic Church in Corning, AR. Funeral service will be Conducted at the church, Monday, July 11, 2022 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Troy Johnson and Reverend Chris Dixon officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery.
