Doris Hawkins

Mrs. Doris (Sisco) Hawkins, 79, of Piedmont, MO., passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Clark’s Mountain Skilled Nursing in Piedmont, MO. Mrs. Hawkins was born in Success, AR., on November 23, 1939. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith.

She married her husband of 30 years George Elvin Hawkins on December 26, 1980, he preceded her in death on June 28, 2011.

She is survived by her children Wildon Hawkins and wife Diana of Hot Springs, AR., James Coleman and wife Sharon of Cedar Hill, MO., Janice and husband John Halbert of Steelville, MO., Shirley and husband Randy Hays of Saint Louis, MO., Lisa and husband Mark Fowler of Paragould, AR.; one brother Wayne Sisco and wife Viola of Success, AR.; one sister Cloyce Dean Eagy of Olney Springs, CO.; 10 grandchildren Tera (Wes) Helding, Amber (Joseph) Zundel, Randy (Buddy) Hays, Bailey Coletta, Steffany (Pete) Stringer,  Alicia (Tim Briley) Coleman, Austin (Morgan Norman) Halbert, Kody (Kelsey) Whitney, Megan (Gabe) Roberts, Matt Fowler; and nine great-grandchildren Zoey Zundel, Leo Zundel, Eleanor Helding, Owen Helding, Avery Jean Hays, Charlie John Stringer, John Stringer, Baylee Stringer, Fowler Paul Roberts; soon to be Kolt Edward Whitney, Lydia Faye Halbert and Elizabeth Quinn Roberts.

In addition to her husband; she was also preceded in death by her parents James Elbert and Lorene (DeArmon) Sisco and infant sister Shirley Sisco.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Kent Smith officiating. Burial will follow the services at Hitt Cemetery in Success, AR. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 1:00 PM until the time of services.
