Mrs. Doris Young Zimmerman, 79, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Corning Therapy and Living Center. Mrs. Zimmerman was born in Knobel, AR. She was a retired business owner and of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by one daughter Marsha and husband Jerry Paul of Little Rock, AR.; one son Alan Young and wife Sandra of Corning, AR.; one brother Ronnie Carter and wife Pat of Shreveport, LA., two sisters Rosemary Hambric of Fort Scott, KS., Ada Lynch of Salt Lake City, UT.; three grandchildren Matthew Paul and wife Kelly of Marshall, TX., Jennifer Medling of Corning, AR., Jason Young and wife Laura of Corning, AR.; six great-grandchildren Andrew Paul, Caleb Paul, Brooke Medling, Kent Young, Kase Young and Whittley Young.
She was preceded in death by parents Ralph C. and Winona B. (Livingston) Carter.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 13, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jimmy McMasters officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
