Dorothy Evans

Dorothy Evans, 98, of Corning passed away February 24, 2021 at Corning Therapy and Living Center in Corning.

Mrs. Evans was born January 7, 1923 in Datto. She was a member of Corning Church of Christ and enjoyed spending time with her family.

On October 10, 1938, she married Luther Evans in Reyno, AR. They were married 65 years prior to his death on March 23, 2004.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law Barbara Evans; grandchildren Kevin, Kimberly, and Shane; and great grandchildren Dakota, Colton, and Savanna.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her sons Lonnie and Dennis Evans; parents Will and Hattie (Watson) Huggins; brothers Earl and A. C. Huggins; and sisters Iva O’Kelley and Ruby Hicks Bradshaw.

Visitation will be Saturday February 27, 2021 from 9 to 10 a.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Graveside service will begin at 10 a.m. at Corning Cemetery in Corning with Earl Ladyman officiating. Burial will follow.
