Mrs. Dorothy Ray (Williams) Gibbs, 86, of Brewton, AL., passed away Thursday afternoon September 20, 2012 in a local nursing facility after a brief illness.
She was a native and former resident of Knobel, AR., where she was involved in the Farming and Agricultural Industry, before moving to Brewton, AL., in 2000. Mrs. Gibbs was a member of Union Baptist Church in Knobel, AR., She was a Homemaker.
She is Survived by one daughter Donna Lee and husband Gerome Brackin of Brewton, AL.; two grandsons William Robert "Robbie" Lee and Donald Ray "Donnie" Lee.
She was preceded in death by husband Robert Gibbs, Jr.; one brother Jimmy Lee Williams; and one sister Bertha May Arnold.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted Sunday, September 23, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Bond Cemetery in Knobel, AR., with Reverend Rusty Keltner officiating. Burial will follow the service. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 23, 2012 in the Ermert Funeral Home from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM.
