Dorothy Hart

Mrs. Dorothy Hart, 80, of Corning, AR., passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born December 29, 1941 in Datto, AR. She was retired from Brown Shoe Factory. Dorothy was a member of the Corning Art Club and enjoyed painting, singing, taking care of her family and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Old Reyno Free Will Baptist Church in Reyno, AR.

On September 25, 1960, she married Gary Hart. They recently celebrated their 61 ^st anniversary. In addition to her husband, other survivors include her daughter Suzy (Randy) McMasters of Corning, AR; brother Jim (Marie) Johnson of Corning, AR.; grandchildren Julie (Matt) York, Brooke (Brandon) Cato, Sabrina Parks and Lyman Parks; great-grandchildren Christian, Zachary, Harper and Owen; sister-in-law Marsha (Larry) High of Reyno, AR.; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Cynthia Gail Hart-Layton; parents Johnnie and Vera Johnson; and siblings Charles “PeeWee” (Caroline) Johnson, and Bob (Mary) Johnson.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 2:00 PM with J.M. Edington, III officiating. Burial will follow at Johnston Cemetery in Reyno, AR.

Pallbearers will be Sam High, Rick Hudson, Sr., Jimmy LaRue, Danny Edington, Edward Graham, and Burt Eddington.
