Mrs. Dorothy White, 88, of Pocahontas, AR., passed away Monday, July 23, 2012 at Randolph County Nursing Home in Pocahontas, AR. Mrs. White was born in Hickoria, AR., on October 15, 1923. She was retired from General Electric Company, she was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by one son James White of Pocahontas, AR.; three daughters Shirley Luttrell of Knobel, AR., Shelby Thompson of Corning, AR., Darlene Emmons of Pocahontas, AR.; thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband Velmer White; parents Frank and Bertha (Groves) Mitchell; one grandson Mark Anthony Luttrell; two great-grandchildren Mitchell Wade Luttrell, Addison Hanan; and one brother Luther Mosley.
Funeral Service will be conducted Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 3:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Earl Ladyman officiating. Burial will follow the service in Cantwell Cemetery near Corning. Visitation will be held Friday, July 27, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
