Dortha Jane Hedge

Mrs. Dortha Jane Hedge, 88, of Jackson, MO., passed away at Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau, MO., on Friday, October 25, 2013. Mrs. Hedge was born in Datto, AR., on June 4, 1925. She was a retired Beautician and a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing and embroidering. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She married her husband of sixty-seven years Allen Hedge on August 24, 1946. He survives. Other survivors include on son Allen Leon Hedge of Foley, MO., one daughter Diane Wichard of Jackson, MO.; one sister Kathlene Sloane of Sikeston, MO.; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Hattie (Stubblefield) England; one brother James England and one sister Edna Foster.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 28, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Sidney McFarlin officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, October 28, 2013 from 11:00 AM until the time of services.
