Dorthey Shepard

Mrs. Dorthey Shepard, 95, of Doniphan, MO., passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Westwood Hills Nursing Home in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mrs. Shepard was born in Fremont, MO., on October 25, 1921. She was a homemaker who enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith.
In 1938, she married her husband of 51 years Mr. Bud Shepard. He preceded her in death on October 13, 1989.
She is survived two sons Roy Shepard of Doniphan, MO., Chuck Shepard and wife Marieta of Doniphan, MO.; three grandchildren Paul Shepard, Joe Shepard and Corina Shepard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents George and Bessie (Kerr) Pulliam; her brother Dewey Pulliam; her sister May Hurt; two grandchildren Scott Shepard and Jesse Shepard.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ron Elston officiating. Burial will follow the services at Charter Oaks Cemetery in Ravenden Springs, AR. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 12:00 PM until the time of services.
