Doug Herren

Mr. Doug Herren, 58, of Corning, AR., passed away Thursday, September 23, 2010 in Corning. Mr Herren was born in Corning, AR., he was self-employed having owned and operated Doug's Tire & Auto Repair for many years. He enjoy collecting antiques and spending time with his grandchildren, he was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Corning.

He married his wife Mrs. Nora Dian (Lack) Herren on June 3, 1972, she survives. Other survivors include one son Brian Herren and wife Laura of Corning, AR.; one daughter Melody and husband Michael French of Jonesboro, AR.; two brothers Fred Herren of Boydsville, AR., John Herren of Corning, AR.; five sisters Mable Niswonger of Poplar Bluff, MO., Aretia Kopka of Flint, MI., Charlene Robertson Falmouth, ME., Linda Soltow of Lake Wales, FL., Emily Exelby of Jacksonville, FL.; two grandchildren Ryder Herren and Phoebe French.

He was preceded in death by parents Charley Andrew and Sara Ester (Pounds) Herren, one brother Charles Herren and one sister Bonnie Miller.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Sunny Williams officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be Friday, September 24, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
