Mr. Doug Hollis, 51, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016 at home surrounded by family. Mr. Hollis was born in Corning, AR., on December 7, 1964. He was a well driller, he enjoyed dancing, hunting, fishing and all things outdoors.
He married his wife of 30 years Sarah (McCollum) Hollis on August 10, 1985. She survives, other survivors are six children Natosha Dobbins of Corning, AR., DJ Hollis of Corning, AR., Brandy Hollis of Tecumseh, NE., Christopher Hollis of Corning, AR., Lindsay Hollis of Corning, AR., Dalton Hollis of Corning, AR.; four brothers James Hollis, Jackie Hollis, Tony Hollis, Gary Hollis; one sister Patricia Hollis; ten grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Bethany Bashay Hollis; his parents Charles "Bid" and Eunice Mae (Cook) Hollis; four brothers Larry Hollis, Dale Hollis, Connie Hollis, Charlie Hollis and one sister Norma Jean Cato.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Herbert Ellis officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 12:00 PM until the time of services.
