Doyle "Buck" Dobbins

Mr. Truman Doyle “Buck” Dobbins, 81, of Corning, AR., passed away at home surrounded by his family Saturday, September 28, 2013. Mr. Dobbins was born in Tipperary, AR., on April 1, 1932. He was retired from Darling Store Fixtures. He enjoyed watching TV and was a member of Blooming Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
He married his wife Thelma Lorene (Corder) Dobbins on July 17, 1953 in Corning, AR. She preceded him in death on November 15, 1990.
He is survived by three sons Terry Dobbins of Corning, AR., Thomas Dobbins and wife Margaret of McDougal, AR., Larry Dobbins and wife Jennifer of McDougal, AR.; one brother Presley Dobbins of Ann Arbor, MI.; four grandchildren Jerome Dobbins, Douglas Dobbins, Andrea Dobbins, Luther Dobbins and two great-grandchildren Katie and Kyle.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents Henry and Fannie (Satterfield) Dobbins; three brothers Thomas Dobbins, Lee Roy Dobbins, Cletus Dobbins; one sister Agnes Collins and a half brother Lavern Tisdal.
Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Smithwick Cemetery near Knobel, AR., with Pastor Robert Moore officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, September 30, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel.
